Orlando Rodriguez, the village code director, and code-enforcement officer Maria Tovar gave case-by-case updates, recommending that fines continue in multiple long-outstanding recertification cases while noting progress on permit applications and demolition planning at some properties. Magistrate Monastine accepted most village recommendations, granted limited time extensions in others (commonly 30 or 60 days), and approved negotiated one-time settlement payments in several cases that came into compliance before hearing.
