On Feb. 25 Mayor Inkerman read the items on the consent agenda and the council moved to approve them. "On tonight's consent agenda is the 1st reading of 25 dash 0 5, which establishes a temporary moratorium on approval of land use applications and business licenses," the mayor said; the moratorium as read into the record listed categories including bodyguard services, car washes, junkyards, pawn shops, paving loan services, vehicle-service uses (major and minor) and vape shops across city zoning districts.
The consent agenda also included Resolution 25-13 amending a bid to LA Western Construction Management Inc., doing business as Nicholas Construction Inc., for the Castle Pines East Gateway Monument project (2024PWDash006), and Resolution 25-12 approving a professional-service agreement with SOS Site Services for landscape maintenance. The motion to approve the consent agenda passed on a roll call vote (six in favor, one opposed).
