Select Board transfers $55,000 and confirms new Assistant Treasurer

Marc Miller, the Town Treasurer, told the board the town appears to be in a reasonable fiscal position at year-end and should not exceed budget. Mr. Miller also announced the appointment of Dawn Augustine as Assistant Treasurer and asked whether a cash-counting machine purchase requires Select Board approval. Mark Turco said such a purchase should be paid from the Treasurer’s office expenses budget. The board did not place additional conditions on the appointment during the meeting.
