Board approves VDOT secondary six-year plan; resident requests Crowder Road addition

Assistant Residency Administrator Brian Lokker presented the VDOT Secondary Six Year Plan, including budget and project details: the FY26 routine maintenance budget listed $1,623,052 planned and $1,305,527 expended, plus a construction project UPC 127078 with NTP of Aug. 17, 2026 and fixed completion Nov. 20, 2026. Norma Patteson asked the board to include Crowder Road in the plan.
After the public hearing the board approved the VDOT plan as presented on a motion by Supervisor Robert Saunders, seconded by Supervisor Paul Stimpson. The minutes record no additional public speakers signed up beyond Patteson and no amendments to the plan.
