The Kenyon-Wanamingo School District school board formally canvassed the Nov. 5, 2024 school board election. The clerk read the canvass resolution: "the general election of the voters of the District held on 11/05/2024 ... a total of 4,968 voters of the district voted ... AJ Lindell, 2,201. Madeline Larkin, 2,176 ... Erica Aronson received 446 run-in votes; write-ins 591."
After reading the results, a board member seconded the clerk's motion to adopt the canvass resolution and the presiding officer recorded that the motion passed 6 to 0. The resolution directs the school district clerk to certify the results to county auditors where the district lies and confirms the three candidates received the highest number of votes and are elected to four-year terms beginning January 2025.
