The TIDE Committee of the Town of Edisto Beach on Feb. 4 unanimously reappointed Gary Cantrell as chair and Edye Graves as vice chair for 2026 and approved the committee’s Dec. 3, 2025 meeting minutes.
Edye Graves moved to reappoint Gary Cantrell as chair; Camille Lemon seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Lisa White then moved to reappoint Edye Graves as vice chair; Lemon again seconded and the committee approved the reappointment unanimously. Earlier in the meeting Lisa White moved to approve the Dec. 3, 2025 minutes; Lemon seconded and that motion also passed by unanimous vote.
The organizational actions formalize committee leadership for the year and clear the way for TIDE to undertake several projects the committee discussed later in the session, including a pilot program for turtle-protection signage and a staff-directed feasibility study on a community dog park.
