"The ARPA funds were fully expended by 12/31," a staff liaison said, adding that the village used ARPA for allowable payroll and benefits. Commissioners also discussed a BayWalk $1,000,000 grant that expires in March and currently shows only $5,000 remaining; staff said they will attempt to secure an extension and must demonstrate progress to retain or extend some awards. Officials cautioned many grants are reimbursement‑based and require documentation and timely use to avoid deobligation.
