City Operator Bobby Archer presented the January 2025 water and sewer report and told the council that additional solid waste had been removed at the wastewater plant and that E. coli readings had returned to normal. "He reported that additional solid waste had been removed at the wastewater plant, and E. coli readings had returned to normal," the minutes state.
Archer said the plant would receive additional cleaning and flushing to reduce the risk of future permit violations. The minutes record that Archer and Adam Kennedy left the meeting after the report. The council did not record a vote or a directive tied to emergency remediation funding at the Feb. 3 meeting; actions described were operational steps by the City Operator.
