The Westfir City Council on Dec. 11 adopted Ordinance No. 145, formally incorporating the Westfir Housing Needs Analysis (HNA) into the city’s Comprehensive Plan as an element of Goal 10 – Housing. Mayor D’Lynn Williams moved for adoption and Councilor Kelly Packard seconded; the motion carried 4–0.
The council opened a public hearing on the proposal at 5:30 p.m., during which Henry Hearley of the Lane Council of Governments delivered the staff report and answered questions from councilors. The record shows no members of the public testified for or against the adoption. The ordinance references findings in Exhibit A, the HNA report as Exhibit B, and plan amendments as Exhibit C.
