The board received the financial report for the period ending Jan. 31, 2026, and approved the financial statement and list of bills for January.
The business staff member (S8) reported that checks numbered 62706 (or 62707) through 62771 were issued "totaling a $151,545.09 for the period," and that the investment fund earned a dividend of $36,082.61. The presenter also reviewed the Feb. 4 Oregon revenue forecast, noting a $286.5 million upward revision in state receipts but that a statewide general fund shortfall remains. A motion to approve the financial report and bills was moved, seconded and passed by voice vote.
Board members asked about specific checks, including one for Hurley Engineering cited around $7,000; staff explained the check related to oil radiators. The business office said it would continue to present budget scenarios to the board as planning for the coming year progresses.
