Commissioners appoint Jacob Stoner as acting emergency management coordinator

Staff said this appointment is required by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Association (PEMA) to ensure consistent emergency-management coverage after the departure of the DES director, Mary Kay Saville.
Speaker 13 described past practice of assistant DES directors assuming the coordinator role and recommended Stoner for continuity. Commissioners thanked him for stepping up and approved the motion without amendment.
