County staff reported on April 21 that a contractor in Dutch John had asked about obtaining water service of up to 4,000 gallons per day. The contractor's request was relayed to the commission and staff outlined next steps for routing the request through the Dutch John water system.
"He wanted, 4,000 gallons a day," staff member Lerinda reported on the call. Commissioners and staff said the contractor should contact Trevor (the Dutch John water contact) and Marjorie if the sale and billing fit established criteria. County staff discussed the potential to apply for a temporary diversion from the river or reservoir under existing county water-right paperwork; staff member Kent said he would follow up with Craig about whether a temporary application or a more permanent diversion was appropriate.
Commissioners agreed staff would contact Trevor and Craig as needed and report back to the commission with recommendations and any paperwork requirements.
