"I would love the phone with Craig getting an update... in the plan that he had forgot to include that 1 additional water right down in the the on the corner by Dutchtown Resort," a staff speaker said while describing outreach to correct the omission. The same staff member said they are also preparing paperwork to establish two permanent diversion points on the lake—"1 on the river and 1 on the east side of the lake"—and asked commissioners for location preferences.
Commissioners discussed likely diversion locations, with one participant noting spots below the airport and in Lynnwood on the old highway as possibilities; the chair said he would have Sean call to confirm exact sites. Staff said once the additional water-right paperwork is returned they will report it to the state and finalize those administrative steps.
