"The attached contract represents full and final settlement of any of all claims for compensation arising from this incident," Hansen said.
Hansen also said the city retains legal counsel to limit exposure, and the settlement was presented as routine; the council approved the recommended settlement by voice vote. The motion was moved and seconded in council and carried without recorded opposition.
