Cutright told the Commission the proposal’s total 5‑year cost would be $239,350.20 (about $47,870.04 per year). He said the request followed several failed attempts to transition mobile carrier providers to the NextGen core services; the Commission discussed procurement options and the current maintenance contract, which renews in January at approximately $22,000.00.
On motion by Commissioner Samuel R. Nolte, seconded by Commissioner Douglas K. Bush, the Commission authorized preparing a Notice to Purchase (a Class II‑0 Legal Advertisement waiving bid requirements for specialized services) to be reviewed at the July 30, 2026 meeting.
