Local resident Tim Otranto used his three minutes of public comment to offer to repair broken roadway speed signs the village is considering replacing.
"I had offered to repair the broken ones," Otranto said, adding that he would inspect the signs, provide an estimate and would not charge for his time if repairs were not feasible. Board members said they appreciated the offer and one asked for the resident's contact information to follow up.
The matter will be placed on a future agenda for formal consideration and any cost‑saving estimates will be reviewed by staff and trustees.
