City staff presented a resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a permanent easement agreement with the North Texas Municipal Water District to relocate a section of a 14‑inch potable water main that conflicts with a proposed FM 544 pedestrian bridge piling. Staff explained the relocation is necessary to safely construct the project and that the easement provides space for the relocated main.
Council moved and approved the resolution by voice vote with no recorded opposition. Staff said the easement will permit the water main to be relocated and did not provide a construction schedule during the meeting.
