Staff previews March target for master-plan recommendations, announces staffing support

Planning staff announced at the Dec. 4 meeting that the master-plan process is advancing toward final recommendations, with staff aiming to bring the final plan and recommendations to the commission in March for a meeting focused on public involvement. Reagan asked commissioners to plan to attend that March meeting so the commission can review and provide input before the plan moves to city council.
Reagan also said the city has created a part-time position in the city secretary's office to help support boards and commissions, which should allow Morgan more opportunity to participate in meetings. "So this person will actually be coming in and serving as board secretaries for our boards...and that will hopefully give Morgan an opportunity to participate a little more in meetings," Reagan said.
