Developer wins approval for 32-townhome Oasis Plaza site plan on North Murphy Road

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved Case No. 2025-018 on Dec. 4, authorizing a 32-townhome site plan for Oasis Plaza at approximately 1000 North Murphy Road. Reagan, planning staff, noted the project substantially conforms with the concept plan approved on Sept. 1, 2021, and highlighted site features including two entrances, a hooded left-turn lane in the median, fire access easements and a masonry perimeter wall.
Developer Saget Hussain described unit sizes and design elements: "The minimum requirement for the lot is 2,300 square feet, and most of them are above 3,000," he said, adding that the product will include slate-tile roofs, masonry and stone facades, balconies and larger rear yards. Commissioners asked about sidewalk layout and fire access; staff said outstanding civil-review issues such as sewer and water tie-ins will be resolved during civil plan review prior to permitting.
