Resident urges city to post presentation slides after claiming errors in FY26 financial comparisons

At the council’s public comment period, resident Maynard Little said he has repeatedly found that slides shown during recorded meetings are not included with the video and requested that the city link slides to meeting videos so residents can follow presentations.
“I request that the slides shown during the presentation are linked to the video for all future presentations so everyone can refer to them,” Maynard Little said, noting he had to file open-records requests to obtain presentation materials. Little said one slide in the FY26 first-quarter financial report included several errors, that projected revenue for FY2026 appeared about $134,000 lower than FY2025 actuals and roughly $50,000 below the three-year average, and that he wants meetings with council members to review the underlying data behind the stormwater fee increase.
Little said he had asked to meet individually with council members about the stormwater fee increase and that two members had responded while one had not. He asked the council to provide the documentation that supports the stormwater-fee decision so constituents can understand the analysis behind the fee increase.
The council acknowledged the request and said staff would process public-comment forms and make time available for citizens who want to be heard. No formal action was taken during the meeting.
