Council approves annual review process for police flat-rate billing and signs medical-transport agreements

Council approved a procedural change to review Police Department hourly flat-rate billing costs annually by averaging the highest and lowest paid officer (including benefits) to determine the rate (motion Dixon/Marr). The motion passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. The minutes record the council’s direction to set an annual review process; no new dollar amounts were adopted at the meeting.

Separately, the council approved Medical Transportation Service Agreements between the City’s Fire & Emergency Services and various care facilities (motion Normand/Hull), including corrections to dates and addresses.
