The Board approved Resolution #2025-10-22 to hire Justin Rogus as a seasonal employee from Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 until Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 at $18.00 per hour. His duties were recorded as working on the leaf crew, limited snow plowing (pickup truck only), and filling in for DPW workers during the holiday period. Staff also reported that Heads Up Sprinklers winterized parking-lot drip systems and will return in early November to complete park winterizations; leaf season was noted to begin the following week.
Trustees asked DPW to evaluate holiday-lighting power sources in Parking Lot 3 and to coordinate with the Town of Oyster Bay on GFI units. The minutes emphasize continued weekly DPW assignments and operational readiness for the upcoming holiday and winter season.
