Staff proposed that any accrued hours over 240 would be moved to employees' sick leave balance and pointed the council to proposed language on page 24 of the personnel document concerning payday leave. Personnel staff said the change is intended to make leave use more predictable and to ensure leave accruals transfer correctly when employees move to another municipality. The council did not vote on the item; Chair invited questions and a brief exchange followed.
