Consultants point to high-injury network, dashboards and 600 public responses as planning inputs

Consultants said they are building a high-injury and high-risk network, developing staff dashboards and have collected about 600 responses to an online map and survey to inform project prioritization and CIP alignment.
Anthony Gallo told the council the team is assembling quantitative crash data and qualitative public input to prioritize safety projects. He said staff will combine crash history and statistical risk to create a high-injury network and a high-risk network and provide exploration tools for staff and the technical advisory committee.
Gallo reported roughly 600 responses to the project's interactive comment map and online survey and described numerous stakeholder conversations, pop-up events and board visits. Those inputs will be folded into a prioritized map of planning-level projects with cost estimates and suggested implementation timelines to help identify grant opportunities and inform the city's capital improvement plan.
