“This is a project I worked on all of 2025 and wrapped up really the spring... we collected about 114 data points,” the presenter said, describing the field survey and focus‑group work. Staff emphasized accessibility considerations, emergency signage (trail emergency identifiers), and consistency with a regional wayfinding package used in downtown and neighboring cities.
Committee members discussed implementation and funding approaches; staff said the plan will be submitted as an addendum to Playbook OP and that funding and installation timing would be addressed through the CIP and Playbook implementation process. A motion to approve the wayfinding plan was made, seconded and approved by voice vote; staff indicated the plan will go forward to the full council on the consent agenda.
