"Congratulations, Mr. Chair, the meeting is now yours," a board member said when the vote passed.
The board also nominated and elected Lyle McKenzie as vice chair by voice vote; one member's response was recorded as an opposition but the motion passed. The board approved the meeting agenda and the consent agenda (minutes of 06/10/2025) by voice votes. These were procedural approvals taken at the meeting’s start; no substantive policy motions were recorded in these items.
