"We proudly operate out of 20 Clark County School District elementary schools offering families a convenient on campus solution for care," Jackson told the board, adding that SafeKey served over 2,300 students in the 2024–25 school year.
Presenters described SafeKey programming (academic support, STEM, American Sign Language, yoga and enrichment activities), fees (morning sessions $6; afternoon $9; extended afternoon $11 per student per day) and outreach: they said the 20 schools are all within the City of North Las Vegas and that the program reaches 20 of the city's 27 CCSD elementary schools, with efforts to recruit additional schools each year. Board members thanked staff for the program's impact and asked about coordination with other providers; presenters said attendance fluctuates when other programs operate during the school year but SafeKey typically fills remaining needs and seeks to expand when schools request services.
