Staff proposes small stormwater mill-levy rounding; impact under $3 per homeowner

Laurie told the committee staff recommends a small mill-levy adjustment for the stormwater utility to capture what was intended as a full 1.0 mill when the fee was created. She said the current dedication recorded as 0.961 mills will be rounded up by 0.039 mills and that the proposal will proceed through the Public Works committee as a separate resolution from the budget.
"At the impact to the average...homeowner, this is less than than $3 a year a whole year for the rounding," Laurie said. She added the fee increase is coupled with a recommended increase to the stormwater fee portion and both items will be discussed further in Public Works.
