Residents ask FiPAC for clearer outreach and printed budget materials ahead of referendum

Julie Ulkus asked whether there was "a way to get a flyer out to residents on the budget" so that those who cannot attend meetings would have access to information. Several commenters echoed that request and called for Plain-Language explanations of line-item impacts so voters can judge the trade-offs ahead of the June 30 referendum.
FiPAC chair Judith Jordan said staff responses to written questions would be posted on the Finance Department page and that the Finance Director and Town Administrator can meet with residents if written answers do not suffice. The commission did not set a formal townwide mailing but directed that responses be posted and that staff offer follow-up meetings.
