Mayor and staff report EPA inspection of Anderson Slough; city establishes LGIP account and seeks $24,940 owed by state

Mayor Wanda Irish told the council that Jesse Herndon of HMH Engineering will be onsite to inspect sidewalks and an Avista pole near the lift station and that the EPA inspected Anderson Slough; an EPA report has been received. City Attorney Susan Weeks had no report. Public Works Supervisor Josh Burg updated on water, sewer and street work.
City Clerk/Treasurer Miriah Pfeiffer reported the city has established a "Local Government Investment Pool (LGIP) account for the Local Option Tax Fund, which currently has a balance of $25,000." She also noted that "the State Controller’s Office still owes the City $24,940 in state revenue sharing for FY 2024–2025," and said city staff will contact the State Controller’s Office to collect the funds.
