Commissioner Robertson told the Lewistown City Commission on Dec. 15 that the Airport Board met Dec. 3 and several publicly funded projects are moving forward, including a large taxiway reconstruction and runway sealant work, installation of a new hangar door and construction of two private hangars in the executive area next summer.
Robertson reported the airport has two large new snow blowers and said "the airport is in better shape than in previous years." He described the projects as publicly funded and noted momentum for the upcoming construction season. The Commission did not vote on these updates; Robertson delivered them as part of board reports.
