DDA approves 2026 property maintenance agreement with Chamblee Public Works

The board approved a property-maintenance agreement with Chamblee Public Works covering March 1 to Feb. 28 of the following year that incorporates two Pierce properties and sets the monthly maintenance fee at $1,725. Staff said the changes from last year primarily add the recently acquired Pierce parcels to the maintenance scope.
Staff also reported a one-time cleanup cost for 5554 Peachtree Road of $1,615 to address debris at the commercial building; Public Works said it could start as soon as the DDA approves. Staff noted that once the DDA has sold eight of the nine properties the monthly fee for the single remaining property would drop to $300 per month.
