Commission clarifies TBID collection power, approves Resolution No. 4215

City Attorney Tyler West told the Commission that "this resolution lays out that the board of trustees does have the power to collect," and City Manager Holly Phelps said she had worked with both the City Attorney and the TBID board to draft the measure. Commissioner Buehler moved for approval and Commissioner Hrubes seconded the motion; the roll-call vote was unanimous.
The resolution is intended to give the TBID board an explicit enforcement tool to address delinquencies. No lien actions were reported at the meeting; the resolution simply clarifies trustees’ collection authority going forward.
