Payne said, "I heartily endorse this," and urged the council to approve the requested setbacks and heights. Council members asked follow-up questions about drawings and whether existing brick columns would remain; the applicant's representative (David) said brick columns would be retained and that detailed drawings would be submitted during the permit process.
