Board approves CTE/culinary bond bid awards totaling multimillion-dollar package

Board members spoke in support of using local companies where possible and thanked staff and contractors for their work on bid solicitation, coordination and interviews during the post-bid phase. The board approved the awards by voice for each motion; the transcript records motions as moved and seconded and then passed by ayes without recorded roll-call tallies.
