The Dell Rapids City Council approved pay application No. 14 to APX Construction at its Dec. 15 meeting.
Staff reported that a previously approved change order (change order 3 for $2,873.34) was converted into pay application No. 14 and that roughly $5,000 remains with APX as retainage. “In the last Council meeting, we approved change order 3 for $2,873.34 has been just converted into a pay application. There's still $5,000 left with APX and retainage,” the city administrator said.
Council members asked about staining and sealing of park timbers and pillars; staff said some materials may need a different treatment and offered to consult the public works director. The council moved and approved pay application No. 14 by voice vote.
