The Avon Town Council on April 3 voted to set a May 1 public hearing to consider accepting a sanitary sewer easement for 12 Beechwood Hollow. The Town Manager explained the easement, previously held by a developer, would be transferred to the Town so it can install and maintain sewer lines and maintain access.
The resolution references a map prepared by Denno Land Surveying & Consulting, and council discussion noted the public hearing requirement whenever the Town accepts an interest in real property. The motion to set the hearing was made by Mr. Weber, seconded by Mrs. Barthel, and passed unanimously. Council members said details about owner agreements and potential septic alternatives would be addressed at the hearing.
