Steubenville City Council adopted two ceremonial resolutions on April 7: Resolution No. 2026-26 designating April 2026 as Fair Housing Month and Resolution No. 2026-27 proclaiming April 2026 as Minority Health Month. Both measures were read into the record and approved by roll call (all ayes).
Mrs. Haley read Resolution No. 2026-26 in full. Councilman Mayo spoke about the importance of Minority Health Month and programs available to residents, and Cynthia Lytle offered a brief related remark during the reading of the proclamations. Each resolution passed unanimously and was recorded in the meeting minutes.
