Residents press council on potholes, tornado siren and municipal flag protocol

During the public forum on March 17, resident Marc Gregory asked whether Steubenville maintains a tornado siren; Fire Chief Joe Ribar replied that in his experience the city has not had one. Gregory also said the flag outside the police station was not lowered for three soldiers lost in Ohio, a matter he raised for council attention.
Residents Frezia Chirila and Dallas Pugh urged the city to address a series of potholes and poor road conditions in the Buena Vista area; Pugh noted paving is planned for 2028 but requested interim fixes. The meeting closed after Mr. Walker moved to adjourn; the motion carried unanimously.
