Council votes 5–2 to offer city manager position to Michael Johnson

So moved motion is carried declared Mayor Petrella," the minutes reflect. The council also approved multiple procedural executive-session motions earlier in the evening related to appointments for the city manager and Parks and Recreation director; one executive-session motion regarding Parks & Recreation drew a 6–1 roll call with Mr. Mayo voting no.
