Council schedules executive session on Parks & Recreation personnel; confirms appointment and special meeting

Council voted on Feb. 10 to go into executive session after public forum to discuss personnel related to the Parks and Recreation Director. The motion to enter executive session was made by Mr. Mayo, seconded by Mr. Albaugh and passed by roll call.
Separately during miscellaneous reports Council approved the Mayor's recommendation to appoint Clarence J. Mitchell Jr. to the Community Reinvestment Council; Mr. Mayo made the motion, Ms. Hoover seconded and the appointment passed unanimously. Council member Walker also called for a special council meeting at 10 a.m. on Feb. 16 in Council Chambers/Pugliese Conference Room for a second round of City Manager interviews; that motion carried.
