The board discussed how courses are added to the curriculum guide, how seldom‑offered courses are sometimes retained but not scheduled if enrollment is low, and how the district designs its master schedule to be student‑centered and responsive to trends.
Board members asked whether older electives would be retired; staff said some courses remain in the guide but are collapsed when there is insufficient student demand. The board indicated support for bringing the proposals back on consent after final decisions on materials and scheduling.
