District reports recovery of 7,809 student days, $546,630 value, from attendance effort

The presenter said the program—piloted previously—has been expanded districtwide and staff expect continued attendance improvements as practices are implemented across sites.
Board members noted that stronger attendance both increases per-pupil funding and supports instructional continuity. The district will continue to monitor results and incorporate attendance recovery into its multi-year budget projections.
