The Avon Planning Commission on Feb. 18 approved both the General Development Plan and a Final Development Plan (contingent on final engineering approval) for Avon International Phase 2, an 84,197‑square‑foot building and associated parking on the south side of Avon Commerce Parkway. Developers ODG Avon II LLC, represented by Ed Jasinski and Steven Brejcha of Jackson Taylor and Aaron Appell of Bramhall Engineering, described the project as a Class A spec building designed to accommodate one to four tenants for manufacturing or light industrial uses.
City Engineer Ryan Cummins told the commission several engineering comments remained; the commission conditioned final approval on resolution of those items. Mayor Bryan Jensen and developers discussed schedule and market conditions: Jasinski said site grading would begin and a mid‑summer arrival of steel was likely, but steel had not yet been ordered. Commissioners approved the plans and the contingent final plan by unanimous vote (motions to suspend rules and approve; vote: AYES all).
