Dr. Benazdell and staff explained the resolution is required to maintain credentialing compliance and that the personnel action report attached to the agenda lists the teachers and subjects being authorized. A trustee emphasized transparency: “Anyone can see that report attached to the agenda to see what people are teaching and why,” and the board voted in favor of the resolution by voice vote.
The board noted that listed teachers are fully eligible and qualified for those assignments per the personnel report and that continued transparency would help address public perception about staffing and qualifications.
