Rockdale board announces tax deadlines, election dates and trustee vacancy

At the start of the Jan. 20 meeting, President Alicia Hynes and Clerk-Treasurer Ann Gerlich reviewed administrative announcements for residents. They reminded the public that the first installment of property tax bills is due Jan. 31, 2025, and that the Spring Primary is scheduled for Feb. 18, 2025, with the Spring Election on April 1, 2025.
The board also announced that a Village Trustee position is open and that letters of interest are due by Feb. 14, 2025. The meeting notice and posting were confirmed by Clerk-Treasurer Gerlich prior to proceeding with the agenda.
