Rockdale caucus names trustee nominees; Hynes to run unopposed for president

Village President Alicia Hynes opened the caucus for the Village of Rockdale and solicited nominations for Village President and Village Trustee positions. Hynes is running unopposed for Village President; the caucus drew ballot positions for trustee candidates Sarah Halvorson (1), Sam Pelot (2) and Rachel Revolinski (3). The caucus closed at 6:06 p.m. after a motion by Hynes, seconded by Halvorson; the motion carried 5-0.
Nominees met immediately with Clerk-Treasurer Ann E. Gerlich to receive the Notice of Nomination, Receipt of Notice of Nomination, the Declaration of Candidacy and the Campaign Finance Registration Statement. Gerlich recorded that completed forms are due back to the Clerk-Treasurer's office within five days of the Notice of Nomination.
