HR: Arcadia Unified adds FTE in elementary, middle and special education; high school FTE down slightly

The high school experienced a reduction of about 2.93 FTE tied to its enrollment trend. HR also described APSA growth (1.3 FTE) for counselors and related specialists and noted a one-position administrative reduction that was absorbed following an internal retirement.
HR fielded board questions about new-hire ethnicity data and agreed to return comparative charts showing how new-hire demographics compare with districtwide staffing and prior audit data. The presentation emphasized efforts to minimize combo classes and to retain staffing stability as enrollment changes.
