The Harrison Township Board of Commissioners on June 22 accepted the low general-contracting bid from Robinson Pipe Cleaning Company to rehabilitate storm sewers on Garfield and Chestnut streets for a combined total of $156,155.00.
Chairman Gary Meanor said the award followed the engineer's recommendation; the contract combines a base bid of $116,670 with Add-on/Alternate No. 1 for $23,585 and Add-on/Alternate No. 2 for $15,900. The motion to accept the bid passed on a unanimous vote. Work on the storm-sewer rehabilitation was listed under the public works/engineering reports provided to the board.
