Council approved routine business on the consent agenda, including minutes and an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2025 adopted budget; Mr. Shoop moved to accept the items and the motion carried unanimously.
The council then ratified appointments to various boards and commissions by a 7–0 vote, with one nominee (Mark Gibbs) pulled for separate consideration. A subsequent motion to appoint Mark Gibbs as an alternate member of the Golf Advisory Board carried 6–0 with one abstention (Mr. Gibbs was recused/abstained as appropriate). Mayor Winget thanked the community for the strong volunteer turnout.
No council debate altered the appointments; staff noted the city had an "overwhelming number of volunteers" for boards and commissions.
